Hearts of Lions struck late to pick a point off visiting Hearts of Oak in their seventh week Premier League duel at the Kpando Park on Sunday.
Hearts could have gone atop the table for the first time this season following rivals, Kotoko lone loss to Bechem United but the Phobians fluffed the opportunity after the homers equalised late in the first half.
The visitors scored first through Emmanuel Hayford who stunned the expectant Lions supporters that filled every space available at the arena to cheer the host on.
Hayford's goal, his fourth for the season put Hearts on the path of what appeared to be another victory but Lions had other ideas.
Before Hearts could head the recess with their tails up, Tanko Mohammed pulled parity for the homers to throw the entire stadium into ecstasy.
Both teams returned from the interval in hope of a winner that never arrived.
Hearts, second on the table are now two points behind Kotoko.
