The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon Monday suffered a painful 1-0 defeat in the hands of Japan in the second Group E fixture of the ongoing South Africa World Cup tournament.Honda struck in the 39th minute to secure a priceless victory for the Japanese who are looking to qualify from the group that also contains Denmark and Holland. The game looked scrappy, with the Japanese dominating possession on most parts and hitting cross bar on few occassions.Imana’s last gasp bullet from 30 yards took a ricochet of the goal post but no Cameroonian man was present for the rebound. The defeat means Africa’s hopes of making a good impression in the tournament appears to be waning following defeats to Algeria, Nigeria and a draw against host South Africa.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
