Hearts of Oak produced their best performance of the season as they thumped city rivals Great Olympics in a Ghana Premier League encounter on Wednesday night.
The Phobians, who had failed to win any of their last three games, won 4-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Joseph Esson tapped home from close range to give Hearts the lead in te 16th minute.
Midfielder Benjamin Efutu capitalised on a poor clearance by Olympics to double the lead with a perfect header in the 64th minute before scoring the third goal three minutes later. This time he used his leg to connect the ball into the net.
The fourth goal arrived in the 90th minute courtesy winger Daniel Afriyie as Hearts recorded their biggest victory of the season thus far.
The victory takes Hearts into top six while Olympics remain a place above the relegation after 14 games.
