It is day one of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) festival and organisers Charterhouse have set out to give viewers the best night.
The show is hosted by Giovanni Caleb and Sika Osei.
Today, awards for 13 award categories including, male/female vocalist of the year, songwriter of the year, sound engineer of the year, instrumentalist of the year among others will be presented.
Ahead of the show music lovers have taken to Twitter to start a conversation on who deserves to win what and why.
