The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is acclaiming President Akufo-Addo as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2020 general elections.
The acclamation of the presidential candidate together with his running mate is ongoing at a special meeting by the party’s National Council at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
This follows the party's parliament primaries that saw party delegates choose their representatives for the 2020 elections.
