Parliament approved the 2022 Budget after the Majority rescinded the rejection decision of the Minority on Tuesday.
Justifying why Parliament’s approval of the fiscal policy cannot be described as unconstitutional, the First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu said, unlike Speaker Alban Bagbin who is not an MP, he [Mr Osei-Owusu] is.
He added that he does not lose his right as a legislator when presiding in the House in the absence of the unavailable Speaker.
With that in mind, today's edition of The Law has tabled the topic; "The Case of Quorum and Votes: Unpacking Article 104".
Host, Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye will have her guests, explain if the approval of the budget is in accordance with the law or otherwise.
