Ghana's coronavirus cases have jumped to 52, the Health Minister announced at a press conference Tuesday.
Kwaku Agyeman Manu said some 1,030 travellers into the country from Sunday were quarantined as a result of the jump in recorded cases.
Of that number, 611 samples were taken.
The press conference was addressed by Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Information Minister and officials of the Ministry of Health.
Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the Education Minister also gave updates in his sector.
On Monday, a second person died in Ghana from Covid-19.
