The country's worrying road accident statistics was up for discussions on Joy News' Newsfile programme.
Host Samson Lardy Anyenini was joined by Dr Williams Ackah, an engineer; Cecil Garbrah, transport consultant; David Osafo Adonteng, director of planning for the National Road Safety Authority and Abraham Zaato, who is with the Driver and Vehicles Licensing and Authority
(DVLA).
Also up for discussion is the country's preparedness to face the coronavirus outbreak as the World Health Organization (WHO) declares the situation a pandemic.
Dr Franklin Asiedu-Bekoe, deputy Director of Public Health and Disease Surveillance; Dr Abena Asomaning Antwi, Health Economist; Dr Lawrence Ofori-Boadu, emergency medicine specialist and Dr Titus Beyuo, member of infectious disease committee of Ghana Medical Association (GMA) were the panelists.
