Winner of the Fidelity Go for Gold campaign Eric Nii Yarboi Mensah has been handed his prize, a 24 carat 1kg gold bar worth $73,000.
Yarboi Mensah, a lawyer who works with the legal department of the Ghana Revenue Authority was presented with his Fidelity Go for Gold prize at a short ceremony in Accra Monday.
Commenting on his prize, Mr Mensah said he had been saving with the Ridge Tower branch of Fidelity Bank for 3-years now. He said he was overwhelmed when he was informed of his winning the prize and added that it took him 3-4-days to assimilate the message.
He revealed that he has been attracted to Fidelity Bank as a result of their good customer relations, saying he would keep the gold bar with the bank until he decides what to do with it.
“If you want to be economically independent, save and save with Fidelity”, Mr Mensah urged Ghanaians.
The second winner, King Marie, was also presented with a prize of an all expense paid vacation to any country of his choice in Africa, a destination choice he is yet to make.
The third winner also has an all paid vacation to any destination of his choice within Ghana.
At the ceremony to present the prizes, Mr Edward Effah, Managing Director of Fidelity Bank congratulated the winners as well as all customers who took part in the promotion, assuring that the bank had in the pipeline many wonderful services for them.
The occasion was graced by some board menbers and some staff of the Fidelity Bank, families of winners and the media.
