"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again,” that's according to Luke 6: 38.
It is in fulfilment of the cardinal Biblical obligation to qualify as member of body of Christ that Prayerline of Luv FM, extended support to three charity homes in Kumasi.
Led by convener and host of the morning devotion radio programme, Pastor Joy Obed Obeng of the Miracle Manna Church in Ayigya, the group mobilized resources as part of a forty-day fasting session for the less privileged.
It is a show of gratitude by loyal, dedicated but hardworking listeners and patrons for their spiritual growth though the programme.
All Nations Charity Home, Life Community Special School and Kumasi Cheshire Home are recipients of assorted food and sanitary items worth 12,000 Ghana cedis in addition to undisclosed amount of money.
Programme Director at Luv FM, Franklin Wereko-Brobby (Apuzo) finds it an extension of the station’s long list of corporate social responsibility, especially to the poor and needy in society.
Authorities of the beneficiary institutions expressed gratitude to Luv FM Prayerline Luv FM for the intervention that will enable them to meet critical needs of the people in their care.
