Chaos erupted at the Adentan polling station on Saturday, December 2.
Heavily-built men stormed the voting center during the election of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in orphan constituencies.
This caused confusion as a large crowd of delegates ran for their lives.

According to correspondent Kwaku Asante, some delegates were injured with pepper spray.
However, the police stepped in to quell the situation, leading to a momentary suspension of voting in the process.
NPP General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua also visited the centre after the development to assure the delegates of some calm.
