FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Nana Opia Mensah Ababio (Wirempehene-Manso Mim), Wirempe
Ankobiahene (Manso-Mim), Asona Abusua Panin Yaw Manu (Accra),
Pastor Kingsley Appiagyei (General Overseer of Trinity Baptist Church,
London), Kwabena Duro (Nkotimso), Yaw Bone (Dunkwa), Appia Kusi
a.k.a Kwaku Asirifi (Tema), Akosua Nsia (Kumasi) and the entire family
announce the passing of their beloved:
Madam Abena Pokua who died at 83 years old
Funeral arrangements are as follows;
There will be no wake-keeping.
Laying-in-state: Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her residence, Asafo,
House Number BH 167, Kumasi near the Neoplan Station behind the
Asafo Goil Filling Station from 4am to 9am.
Burial Mass: Thursday, October 15 at St. Peters Cathedral Basilica,
Roman Hill after which the body will be conveyed to her hometown,
Manso Mim for interment.
Final Funeral Rites: Saturday, October 17 at Heroes Park, Kumasi
Sports Stadium
Thanksgiving Mass: Sunday, October 18 at the at St. Peters Cathedral
Basilica, Roman Hill after which the family will gather again at the
Heroes Park
Children: Ama Tawiah (Businesswoman-Kumasi), Kofi Okyere
(Businessman-Accra), Peter Okyere (Businessman-London), John
Okyere (Lecturer-London), Thomas Okyere (Consular-Botswana),
Albert Okyere (Medical Doctor), Gifty Okyere (Nurse-USA), Josephine
