President John Mahama
President John Mahama has nominated a new set of District Chief Executives (DCEs) for various districts across the country, in line with Article 243 of the 1992 Constitution and the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) as amended.
The nominations, announced in an official statement from the Office of the President and signed by the Secretary to the President, Callitus Mahama, are subject to the approval of the respective District Assemblies.
The latest appointments span three regions: Savannah, Bono East, and Greater Accra. The list includes:
