President John Dramani Mahama has nominated three persons as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Ashanti & Northern Regions.
1. David Addai Amankwah: Ahafo Ano North
2. Charles Oti Prempeh: Amansie West
3. Mohammed Aminu Luqman: East Gonja
The nominations announced by the Minister for Local Government & Rural Development, Hon. Akwasi Opong-Fosu, are in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
