President-elect John Mahama has shared a heartfelt Christmas message with Ghanaians, expressing gratitude for the trust reposed in him to lead the country and outlining his vision for a prosperous and inclusive Ghana.
In his statement, Mahama highlighted the season’s essence as one of “hope and renewed inspiration”, drawing parallels between the birth of Jesus Christ and the values of compassion and service.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the values He lived in his own life, I wish to thank you, the good people of Ghana, for bestowing on me the opportunity to serve you as your President and Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces,” he said.
Mahama reaffirmed his commitment to creating a “nation that works for all,” emphasizing a vision rooted in freedom, justice, accountability, and equal opportunities for every Ghanaian.
The President-elect extended warm holiday wishes to Ghanaians, calling on them to embrace the spirit of unity, hope, and renewal as the country looks toward a promising future.
“Merry Christmas!” Mahama concluded, underscoring his pledge to build a Ghana that upholds democratic values while fostering prosperity for all citizens.
