President John Dramani Mahama has officially submitted his asset declaration form to the Auditor-General.
The declaration was filed on the morning of Tuesday, 18th February, at the Presidency.
This move highlights his commitment to transparency and accountability, key principles that define his leadership.

The announcement was made by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Senior Presidential Advisor and Special Aide to President Mahama.
In a Facebook post today, she stated, “The President submitted his assets declaration form to the Auditor-General this morning at the Presidency. This communicates his commitment to transparency and accountability as a key component of his presidency.”
President Mahama’s asset declaration aligns with Ghana’s constitutional requirement for public officials to disclose their financial status.
This process is a critical measure in promoting good governance and ensuring that leaders uphold ethical standards in public service.
The President’s action serves as an example for other public officials to follow.
