President John Mahama has visited the residence of the late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings to offer his condolences and honour her life of public service.
During the visit, President Mahama reflected on her exceptional legacy.
President Mahama also announced that the late former First Lady will be accorded a state burial with full honours in recognition of her exceptional service to the nation.
The President also signed the book of condolence opened in her memory.


At the Rawlings household, Mr Mahama and his spouse joined family members, dignitaries, and mourners in offering prayers and messages of solidarity.


Nana Konadu, who passed on October 23, 2025, was known for her pioneering leadership in women’s advocacy and her role in founding the 31st December Women’s Movement.

The event continues to draw prominent figures from Ghana’s political, social, and civic spheres, as the nation observes a period of mourning for a prominent public figure.
