President-elect John Mahama has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to championing a brighter and more prosperous future for Ghana’s youth and vulnerable populations.
In a Facebook post on 24th December, Mahama reflected on his recent diplomatic engagements and pledged to work diligently, both locally and internationally, to achieve this vision.
The President-elect detailed his visits with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Gabon, highlighting the importance of fostering robust relationships with Ghana’s geographical neighbours and allies across West Africa and the continent.
He emphasised the need for strong regional partnerships as a cornerstone for achieving shared development goals.
“I just wrapped up an incredible visit with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Gabon as part of my commitment to fostering strong relationships with our geographical neighbours and friends in West Africa and on the continent,” Mahama noted.
During these meetings, Mahama and the respective leaders discussed shared values and aspirations for progress. Key areas of focus included opportunities for collaboration in trade, security, and sustainable development.
The President-elect stressed that these partnerships would not only advance the interests of the nations involved but also bring tangible benefits to the people they serve.
