Officials say a Portland man has been arrested for breaking into a neighbor's home and stealing women's underwear.
The Oregonian reports (http://goo.gl/ItlBxM ) that Daniel Kowatch, 24, told police he had thought about breaking into a neighbor's home many times just to see if he could get away with it. He reportedly did that early Sunday. The couple living there chased him out and called police.
Police say they found the man's jacket on the roof with two pairs of women's underwear, maxi pads and a large bowie knife in the pockets.
Kowatch reportedly told police he took the items from a dryer in the home and that he "has an obsession with women's underwear and it's getting worse."
He has been booked on burglary and criminal mischief charges.
