Football legend Diego Maradona underwent successful eye surgery on Tuesday, his surgeon said.Maradona, 52, underwent surgery to correct presbyopia, age-related loss of ability to focus on close-by objects, in the western Argentine city of Mendoza."Maradona was fine, it was a normal routine presbyopia procedure we do. He did well; he's a great patient," surgeon Roberto Zaldivar told reporters.Maradona was expected to undergo a checkup before returning to Buenos Aires and then on to Dubai where he is a sports ambassador.
