Mfantse Mpontu Kuw (UK) congratulates Prof John Atta Mills on his election as President of the Republic of Ghana on 28th December 2008.
As Ghanaian citizens in the United Kingdom we are proud of the peaceful democratic process through which the people of Republic of Ghana elected the President-elect and Members of Parliament.
We pray that under your leadership the country will continue to achieve more socio-economic growth and prosperity, peace and security, and through good governance, the democratic and human rights of the people of Ghana will be protected.
We congratulate you and your new government and wish you success as you start your tenure of office.
