Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has revealed he and his technical team have their eyes on Michael Baidoo for a possible call-up.
Baidoo has been in stunning form for Elfsborg since the start of the 2024/25 season, steering the club to greatness.
The versatile midfielder who has also been deployed as a striker in several games this season has netted 14 goals, including four in the UEFA Europa League (Qualifiers included). Baidoo also has seven assists to his name across all competitions.
Despite his rich vein of form, the former Ghana U-20 midfielder was left out of the Black Stars squad for the two games against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Otto Addo revealed the player is being watched by his team for a possible invitation in the future.
"He is on our radar, we are in touch. He is an excellent striker. Michael Baidoo is an excellent striker and we will see what will happen in the future," said Addo at his press conference to announce his squad.

“Like I said, this is what we think: Inaki is scoring at Bilbao, and Semenyo is scoring at Bournemouth. To be honest, I think the Premier League is a little tougher than the Swedish League, this is the reason why they are in front but we will see what will happen in future.
"He is a very good striker and I am looking forward to getting to know him personally."
Joy Sports can confirm there were talks between Baidoo's entourage and representatives of the national team before the call-up for the games against Angola and Niger last month.
The 25-year-old was close to a move to English side Plymouth Argyle in the summer until the deal fell through due to Elfsborg wanting the Ghanaian to stay until at least the January transfer window.
