The nominations forms of President John Evans Mills will be submitted to the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at 10am on Monday May 30, 2011.
A statement signed by the Spokesperson of the President’s Campaign Team, Get Atta Mills Endorsed (GAME), Barbara Serwaa Asamoah noted that President Mills has satisfied all the requirements including the required number of signatories with the designated credentials.
The Mills Campaign Team thanked all those who worked to secure the signatories and continue to work in the constituencies towards the successful endorsement of President Mills at the Sunyani congress as the NDC’s presidential candidate for 2012.
The statement reminded the rank and file of the NDC of President Mills’ continued commitment to the development of Ghana through infrastructural provision, enhancing food security and investing in people, and urged all delegates of the party “to endorse the president to guarantee our great party and Ghana the Better Ghana Agenda we are presently prosecuting.”
GAME congratulated the team for adhering to the call to run a decorous campaign as directed by President Mills, and urged them to continue to sell and promote the qualities of the President and ignore all calls for media debates and discussions that bother on attacks, allegations and insults.
