The Chief Executive Officer of Kama Group of Companies, Dr Michael Agyekum Addo, has appealed to the country's political leaders to stop issuing threats against each other since that scares investors away.
He said foreign investors who wished to invest doubt¬ed the country's political system so much so that they were reluctant to invest more of their money.
Dr Agyekum Addo, who said this in an interview after delivering a talk on the theme, "Creating wealth in spite of challenges" at a seminar in Accra, therefore, appealed to political leaders to tolerate each other for democracy, peace and har¬mony to prevail.
The two day seminar was organised by Matured Leadership Consult.
He said for businesses to thrive in the country, Ghanaians must have a positive attitude towards work.
“They must be punctual, honest, work hard and be dedicated,” he said.
Dr. Agyekum also called for the country's educational institutions to have practical oriented programmes. He said currently what was taught in school was not practical oriented and so when the students graduated, it took some time for them to grasp the business.
He said acquisition of premises and problems with artisans were some of the factors that posed a challenge to the success of businesses in the country.
