The Minority National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said it will resist any attempt by government to prevent it from criticising its handling of the energy crisis.
According to them it is important to let the public know where government has gone wrong and suggest practical solutions to end the crisis.
The minority objected attempts by the Majority Leader to introduce a compromised motion on the energy crisis to change the focus of the debate from the earlier one which was full of acrimony and blame game.
The Minority Leader, Mr Alban Bagbin said it is important to allow the free expression of opposing views on the energy crisis, no matter how critical they might be of government.
