The immediate past Miss Ghana, Carranzer Naa Okailey Shooter, has left Accra, Monday, September 2, for the 63rd Miss World Finals in Indonesia.
She joins some 130 other confirmed delegates for the international pageant.

The Asian country is hosting the event for the very first time in its history.
Miss Shooter and other world delegates will vie for the prestigious crown of Miss World 2013.
She is excitedly upbeat about her chances, and has promised to make her country proud.
“I am excited at the opportunity to represent my country. We can only ask for God’s guidance and favour ahead of the finals,” she says.
Finalists in this year’s event will take part in key challenge events including Beach Fashion, Beauty With a Purpose, Sports and Fitness, Talent, and Top Model. There will also be a special award for World Fashion Designer.
Undoubtedly the world’s most successful and highly recognized pageant, participation in the global event is a value added attraction for national pageants like the Miss Ghana contest.
A yearly on-screen delight watched by a global television audience, this year’s event will be hosted by Mr. World 2010 Kamal Ibrahim, and English Pianist, Singer, model and media personality Myleene Klass.
The winner of this year’s event takes over from China’s Wenxia Yu.
