The Managing Director of Mobilex Srl in consultation with Afrodan Limited, dealers and producers of furniture are to establish a plant in the country.
The Managing Director of Mobilex Giorgio Frasetto was confident that the establishment of a furniture manufacturing plant in the country will train skilled personnel for the growth of the industry.
He was speaking to Joy Business Report at the inauguration of an expanded showroom of Afrodan Limited in the former Kingsway Departmental Stores in Accra.
Mr. Frasetto said the venture would ensure technology transfer, availability of parts, ready assembling of units and an expanded market in the sub region.
The Managing Director of Afrodan Limited, Eden Takyi-Micah said the joint expansion program will ensure improvement in product quality comparable to those in demand in developed markets.
