Two robbers armed with a gun and a knife, have attacked a Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor, Clara Quainoo, and made away with over GH₵30,000 at Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
The incident occurred around 7:00 pm on Monday while Clara was about to close for the day.
Speaking to Adom News, Clara recounted that the robbers, who were on a motorbike, stopped in front of her shop and attacked her and her sister.
“One of the suspects pulled out a pistol on my sister, while the other wielded a knife and demanded we hand over our money,” she said in Twi.
During the robbery, Clara sustained knife wounds on her left hand was receiving treatment at a health facility at the time of filing this report.
Police investigations into the incident are underway.
