The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Ghana has maintained the policy rate, the key lending rate at 12.5 percent.The rate would usually be a key factor in interest rate determination.Governor Kwesi Amissah-Arthur explains that the move is to ensure that the economy avoids signs of instability on the market.
