Prolific Ghanaian songwriter Emmanuel Barnes popularly known as Mr Logic has teamed up with Jamaican artiste, Clarke, to become Jafro, a new dancehall musical group.
In an exclusive interview with MyJoyOnline, he confirmed his collaboration with the UK-based Jamaican artiste and revealed they have already released a new single titled ‘Shove Off’, production credit going to MOG Beat.
CLARKZ, the Jamaican artiste also known as Scotroy Clarke, was born in a small town of Jamaica called St. Mary.
He, since the age of 19, migrated to London UK where he started his musical journey which gained him noticeable respect in the reggae and dancehall company both in the UK and Jmaica with songs such as ‘JAH JAH’ from his EP Step Out.
CLARKZ has collaborated with some Jamaican, Ghanaian and UK artistes in the past.
Mr Logic also known as Rude buoy Sterling, is a popular artiste manager based in Ghana. For a while, he managed one of Ghana’s biggest artistes Shatta Wale and at a point, the late Vybrant Faya.
Mr Logic is currently the President of the Ghana Association of Songwriters.
