AshantiGold SC weren’t distracted by the ongoing alleged match fixing investigations as they breezed past Kintampo Top Talent FC.

Isaac Agyemang added a second halfway through the first half to give the hosts some cushion.
An own goal from Kwadwo Amoako 10 minutes from halftime gave Kintampo FC some hope for the second half.
However, Paul Asare and Amos Addai made sure of the victory as the Miners raced into a 4-1 lead.
Obed Aboagye scored a consolation goal in added time for the visitors but it’s AshantiGold who will be in the semi-finals of the MTN FA cup.
They’ll face one of Asante Kotoko or Berekum Chelsea.
Hearts of Oak left it late in their quarter final encounter against Elmina Sharks.
A well taken free kick goal by Caleb Amankwah in extra time sent the Phobians into the semi finals.
The game was fairly balanced in regular time with Hearts of Oak piling the pressure and creating the better opportunities.
The two sides needed extra time to be able to separate themselves.
It took a moment of magic from Amankwah who powered his free kick from 25 yards into the net.
