MTN Ghana says Mr Lance Dickerson has assumed responsibility for the network Group Division of the company, as Acting Chief Technical Officer.
The statement signed on Thursday in Accra by Mrs. Mawuna Trebarh, Head of Corporate Services Division of MTN, said this followed the resignation of Mr.Eben Albertyn as Chief Technical Officer.
It said Mr. Dickerson had a 15-year career with MTN spanning work in several MTN operating units at a senior managerial level within diverse Network Group Division in those countries.
“The network group has an exemplary team-based approach to delivering outstanding network quality and our subscribers remain assured of that focus on continuous improvement from the team going forward,” Mr Brett Goschen, MTN Chief Executive Officer, the statement said.
This is the second resignation of a top MTN management official in Ghana after the departure of Mr. George Andah, Chief Marketing Officer, who moved to rival Bharti Airtel, owners of Zain Telecommunications Limited.
