MTN Mobile Telecommunication Company on Friday launched and opened its first data flagship store in Osu as part of its efforts to lead the delivery of a new digital world to its customers.
The data store, the first of many to be established in Ghana is also to create an opportunity to connect with customers.
Mr Serame Taukobong, Chief Executive Officer of MTN said the shop aims at offering experiential data service to customers.
It is also to offer high-end data enabled handset, phone accessories, laptops as well as other internet devices such as modems and routers.
He said the store would enable customers to experience a world that extends far beyond the initial offering of voice and enable them to truly experience the benefits of digitization.
He said “MTN stands at the doorway of innovation in Ghana. This shop is the first in the industry and is another proof of MTN’s market leadership in the delivery of a new digital world to our customers”.
Mr Taukobong concluded, “today marks the end of the MTN iFest month celebration which was also used to educate customers about the internet and empowered them to benefit more from the internet.
