Multimedia Group Limited, parent company of Joy FM, Multi TV and several media outlets, has promised world class broadcasting services after picking two awards at this year’s CIMG Awards.
The company won the Media Organisation Award for 2008 at the 20th National Marketing Performance Awards of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana.
The Group’s flagship radio outlet, Joy 99.7FM, also saw its Super Morning Show programme hosted by Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah win the Radio Programme of the Year 2008 Award in the Media category.
The Human Resource and Corporate Affairs Manager of Multimedia, Jane Ohenewaa Gyekye said it was gratifying to note that the company’s listeners appreciate the efforts at serving them with balanced information.
She said the awards confirm that the company was on track to becoming a world class African media group.
According to her, the awards are also a calling on Multimedia to strive to achieve higher standards and not rest on its oars.
“More importantly (the awards) are to continue to inspire us to more excellence and innovation in our radio, online and TV offerings,” she emphasized.
