There are always fiery affairs with a few meaty tackles in derbies all over the world, and the clash between AC Milan and Inter Milan was no different.
A magnificent Jeremy Menez volley was wiped out by Joel Obi, as the Derby della Madonnina ended in a 1-1 draw at San Siro on Sunday evening.
However, on the half-hour mark, the crunch game proved to be a bruising encounter for one Inter player in particular - Brazilian defender Dodo - after AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari went unpunished with a strong elbow on his opponent.
Dodo was left with a nasty cut to his lip when running into Muntari’s arm.
Luckily the youngster was able to get back to his feet and finish the rest of the game which at one point didn't look possible.
