Inter Milan player Sulley Muntari's disciplinary devils came back to haunt him on Wednesday night as the midfielder sent off during a league game.
The Ghana international was shown a straight red card for a foul on Giacomo Tedesco on 31 minutes, during their 2-0 win over Catania.
It was his second sending off of the season.
Muntari's sending off gave Catania hope of a recovery after Inter had taken the lead.
Inter took a fifth minute lead when Julio Cruz escaped down the right, turned inside his marker and crossed with his left foot for Dejan Stankovic to glance home a header.
But 20 minutes from time Zlatan Ibrahimovic latched onto Stankovic's long pass forward, chipped stranded goalkeeper Albano Bizarri and collected the ball before slotting home.
The Italian champions are now six points clear at the top after nearest rivals Juventus suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at Udinese.
To complete a great evening for Jose Mourinho's side, city rivals AC Milan were held 1-1 by Genoa -- and are now eight points behind in third place.
