The musicians union of Ghana will treat music fans to live-band shows starting January 28, to whip up support for the Ghana at 50 celebrations.MUSIGA president Alhaji Sidiku Buari wants support from government to enable musicians showcase the country's true culture and tradition to visitors.The musical shows would take place in all ten regions.It would showcase sensational artiste’s especially veteran musicians from the 50's who helped put the country on the music map.MUSIGA president Alhaji sidiku buari promised a historical event since all musicians billed to perform have been preparing eight months ago.Accra’s event would be held at the forecourt of the state house and would commence this month with gospel artistes doing live-band performances.Other regions would hold theirs at designated locations with each event starting at 5pm to 10pm.The music festival would travel through February with performances by other high-life, hip-life and reggae artistes to be climaxed on March 3.TV3
