The former Spokesperson of the NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, Mustapha Hamid has denied allegations that he has been sacked from Nana Addo’s campaign team.Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” Morning Show, Hamid said the campaign team’s appointments or posts officially came to an end after the elections, including that of the Communications Director, Dr Arthur Kennedy. They are nevertheless still helping the party, so it is not true he has been sacked.Hamid was speaking in reaction to The Vanguard newspaper's publication Thursday that he had been sacked and will face disciplinary action. The paper further alleged that the termination of his appointment as a spokesperson came as a result of a critical newspaper article he wrote questioning ex-President Kufuor’s commitment to Nana Addo’s campaign team.According to the paper, Hamid also attacked some policies of the Kufuor administration, which according to him contributed to the NPP’s defeat. But Hamid dismissed the allegations, referring to them as false. He therefore urged listeners to ignore The Vanguard’s publication.Source: Peacefmonline.com
