Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ozo Chukwu says he sometimes gets overwhelmed by the amount of attention he receives following his exit from the house.
Speaking on Drive Time on Joy FM, he said many people have supported him and have shown interest in seeing him succeed, adding "that for me is the overwhelming part."
“One thing I have seen earlier in life, I understand that you should never let the fame control you, you should be the one controlling the fame, so you never let it get to your head as well,” he told Lexis Bill, host of the show.
The former BBNaija housemate added that fame has given him the opportunity to achieve a lot of his dreams.
"When I was on the show, I did so many other things. The show allows you to explore inner parts of your own self, and now, coming out of the show, I think I got a lot more because there are more business ideas that I'm really exploring."
He stated that he is grateful to have been given the opportunity in the house to show people what he is capable of. He revealed that he is looking forward to the other plans that life has in store for him.
However, aside from the positive, Ozo said that there will always be people who would troll or post negative things about him or what he does.
But, he has learnt to move past such negative energy to protect his mental health.
“It is important for me to take care of my mental health. I always say whatever that person is saying; I know it is not a reflection of who I am or what I am going through, or where I will get to in life. For me, those are just words; that's all you could do.”
