Made up of persons from the corporate world, the My Help Your Help Foundation, has been committed to improving the lots of deprived children, mostly orphans.
Nicholas Coffie, president of the Foundation, noted that the best way to positively impact the lives of others is by showing them genuine love and care for them.
He said this at Foundation’s recent donation during the Christmas and New Year festivities at the City of Refuge Orphanage Home at Shai Hill in Accra.
“I am an orphan myself but maybe I was privileged…madam Grace Nartey of Cosmos School helped me a lot.

“I don’t wish for anyone to be an orphan as it is a difficult experience…I decided to extend a helping hand to the orphaned, poor and needy in society when I am blessed,” he said.
They treated the children to some hot meals and donated bags of rice, cooking oil, toiletries, beverages as well as toys among others.
Some members of the Foundation also shared words of encouragement with the children.
They told them about the good opportunities for them if they learn hard, have self believe and become good citizens.

Children at the City of Refuge Orphanage could not hold back their excitement as they were treated to some good music after hot meals.
“I am very excited because we weren’t expecting anything like this…I was touched and someday when I also become someone in life, I will go out there and touch lives,” one of the children said.
Director of the Orphanage who was beside himself with joy also spoke about efforts they are making to improve the lives of the children.
