Actress Emelia Brobbey has opened up in a candid conversation on E Vibes about her journey in the music industry.
According to the 'Fa, me ko' singer, despite the backlash and trolls she suffered since the release of her first single, she is not backing down on music anytime soon.
“Music is part of acting. Doing a talk show is part of acting. Initially, I was crying and my manager was like Emelia this is showbiz, you don’t get it? You haven’t done anything wrong. They know Emilia the actress, they don’t know Emelia the musician. So throw it behind you. If you think that is what you want, go ahead," she said.
Speaking with JoyNews’ Becky, the actress added she took a decision and “I can’t stop it. I love it. So I am not stopping and I won’t stop. I am unstoppable."
The actress-turned-musician has songs such as 'Fa me ko’, ‘Odo Electric', 'Mako Ma', and the recently released ‘Emelia' to her credit.
Emelia Brobbey has won the Best Indigenous Actress of the Year and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016.
She also won Best Ghallywood Actress and Best Philanthropist at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018.
