Former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar has announced that his son has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The 2019 Presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party took to twitter to disclose this.
Although he did not mention the name of which of his sons was infected, he revealed that his son has been moved to the Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management.
My son has tested positive to coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real. -AA

He also implored on the general public to support him with fervent prayers.
