During the festive season, MyHelp-YourHelp Foundation delivered unmatched relief and joy to needy mothers at Tema General Hospital.
On December 26, 2024, under the theme “Love at First Cry,” the foundation presented a cheque of GH¢40,000 to settle medical bills for financially constrained mothers and support hospital needs.

Additionally, they distributed 50 well-stocked hampers to brighten the holiday season for new mothers.
The hampers, meticulously curated, provided essential items for both mother and child.
They included baby necessities i.e. diapers, baby oil, baby wipes, baby soap, powder, and toys; health essentials - Antiseptics, cotton wool, methylated spirit, and sanitary pads, and comfort items - baby socks, mittens, hats, and bibs.

This initiative offered immediate relief and support for the mothers, ensuring a smoother transition into parenthood.
The Hospital Administrator, Apostle Dr. Samuel Obeng-Mensah, expressed deep gratitude to the foundation.
“Your generosity greatly supports our mission to deliver quality care. We hope other organizations will emulate this noble gesture,” he said.

He also delivered an inspiring message, urging men to support their partners during parenthood.
“Just as Joseph stood by Mary, we, as men, must not abandon our responsibilities. Caring for mothers and children is both a societal duty and a divine mandate that brings blessings,” he added.
Since its inception in 2018, MyHelp-YourHelp Foundation—a group of dedicated professionals, including doctors, nurses, lecturers, and entrepreneurs—has completed 22 major projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Their efforts focus on poverty alleviation, improved healthcare, and reducing maternal and infant mortality.
The foundation’s President, Nicholas Cofie, reaffirmed their mission. “Christmas is a time for love and hope. This gesture is our way of putting smiles on the faces of needy mothers and their newborns. Together, we can create a brighter future for all,” he said.

Reflecting on Galatians 6:2, he emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and compassion.
The foundation’s heartwarming act serves as a clarion call for others to join in spreading love and kindness.

Proverbs 19:17 reminds us, “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.”
This event exemplifies how collective action can transform lives and bring hope to those in need.

MyHelp-YourHelp Foundation has once again demonstrated that small acts of kindness can make a world of difference.
