The current issue of the A2.O magazine, which features popular Ghanaian artiste MzVee, South Africa’s rap queen Nadia Nakai, popular model Guido Quarcoopome and Rit$y is being heralded as the best ever.
The vibrant issue, which features artwork from leading Ghanaian artiste Hanson Akatti and Zambian artist Nomesdee, according to critics is delightful to read for all lovers of contemporary art in Africa - be that in the form of poetry, music, or photography.
The magazine was put together by a great team led by Stanley Anani and Randolph Avornyo, both of Effect Studios, a thriving creative digital agency nestled in Dzorwulu, Accra.
According to M. Anani, this issue was tough to put together in more ways than one.
“Effects Studios took over the development of the magazine in 2016. We liked where it was going, but it needed a little help which is why this Issue was held back by about 4 months.
It was hard to not release it early because it looked really good but we had to make sure to get a few errors out of the way.”
