Individuals claiming to be beneficiaries of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO)Â have flooded social media with concerns regarding unpaid allowance.
They say allowance for the past three months have not been paid, therefore, have called on President Akufo-Addo and other relevant stakeholders to intervene.
According to users on Twitter, life has become unbearable since they are unable to cater for their families.
NABCO was introduced by the Akufo-Addo led administration in 2017 as part of measures to address graduate unemployment in the country.
The initiative was run under seven modules namely; Educate Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, and Civic Ghana.
Below are some comments on Twitter:
@MBawumia Mr. Veep you chaired a meeting and the outcome was for #nabco trainees to remain at post. They did remain sir but have still not been paid since September. People need to be paid for work done sir. #paynabcotrainess
