Assembly Members in the Nadowli-Kaleo district have voted massively to retain Andrews Kpan as their Presiding Member.
The election which was supervised by the Nadowli-Kaleo district Electoral Officer, Abdul Razak Yidaaba saw Mr. Kpan polling 38 of the 44 votes cast.
At the close of nomination, he was the only candidate who penciled his name for the contest after his two year tenure expired some few weeks ago.
In his victory message, Mr. Kpan thanked the Assembly men for the confidence and trust reposed in him, vowing never to betray that trust and confidence.
He said the victory chalked at the assembly showed how united the Assembly is and would do everything possible to bring those dissenting voices together for the forward march of the district.
