Founder and Leader of the Israel King of Jews Church Nakoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson has underscored the essence of burnt offering as humans.
It is incumbent on children of God to offer burnt offering, which is a tradition of our forefathers, he said, making reference to the substituted offering made by Abraham after God commanded him to use his son Isaac.
Extending felicitation to Muslims across the globe for observing such an important tradition during Eid al-Adha, Nakoa said persons who practise burnt offering receive blessings from God.

For this year, Nakoa Jamson has made it an annual affair to make burnt sacrifice of fully grown white ram to coincide with the Muslim festival.
Nakoa therefore led hundreds of congregants of Israel King of Jews Church to solemnly slaughter a ram at the church’s new site near the Dome roundabout in Accra. The animal was placed on burning firewood arranged in a traditional three-mud cook stove to burn to ashes.

The act of sacrificing animal to God like Abraham did is very important in cleansing one’s sin and uplifting you spiritually into perfection, he explained.
The Spiritual Leader of Prophets and Spiritual Churches Council used the occasion to pray for God’s blessings to the nation and its inhabitants.
