Flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and his running mate Mahamadu Bawumia are promising an effective use of the Zongo development fund if voted into power.The two said this in Mamobi as part of their nationwide ‘Restore Hope Tour’.They claim the mismanagement of the fund so far especially in Nima, Maamobi has had appalling consequences for the Zongo communities. A situation they hope to reverse.Nana Addo also reiterated his commitment to implement a free second cycle education if elected into office.The tour took the pair to areas around Nima, Accra New town.They are expected to visit the Ledzokuku Constituency also in Accra in the coming days.
