The National Service Scheme (NSS) has ordered all NSS personnel to return to their places of work on Monday, May 4, 2020, after taking a one month paid leave.
NSS personnel were directed in March to take a forced paid leave due to the coronavirus outbreak in Ghana.
But a statement issued by the NSS Corporate Affairs Directorate on Sunday, May 3, directed service personnel resume their duty with their respective user agencies.
The statement also mandated the personnel to wear a face mask and comply with all other laid-down precautionary measures and workplace protocols, as they resume work.
The Management of NSS appealed to all user agencies to as much as possible, operationalise a shift system to reduce the frequency of human contact.
