The National Communications Authority (NCA) says effective 1st October, 2011, it is withdrawing normal courtesies, including issuance of clearance certificates or letters for clearing communications equipment from the ports as well as any interventions by the Authority from businesses defaulting in fees payment.A terse statement by the NCA Monday therefore reminded all Network Operators, Service Providers and Dealers not in good standing with the Authority as far as payment of Regulatory fees, Spectrum fees, penalties/sanctions and non-compliance with the NCA Act, Regulations, Licence/Authorisations, terms and conditions are concerned, to settle their indebtedness immediately.
